Vertia Oy guarantees the quality of the services it provides and the professional competence of its staff. Vertia may also use partners to provide its services. We are responsible for the quality of our partners\u2019 work on the same basis as we are for the work of our own staff.<\/p>\n
Working hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. An additional fee in accordance with the price list will be charged for evening, night, and weekend work. However, no additional fee will be charged if the work runs over time for reasons attributable to Vertia.<\/span><\/p>\n The Client is responsible for ensuring that the site provides safe access to the necessary facilities. The client is also responsible for ensuring that the site is sufficiently prepared for the provision of our services.<\/span><\/p>\n For airtightness measurements and thermal imaging, the client is responsible for ensuring that the building to be measured is in a condition suitable for measurement at the agreed time, using the checklist provided to the client.<\/span><\/p>\n In the case of moisture measurements, the client is responsible for ensuring that the sampling locations are safe and that there are no underfloor heating pipes running beneath them, for example. If necessary, underfloor heating pipes can be located for an additional fee according to the price list. The contractor is not liable for compensation if the installer has drilled or chiseled in the location indicated by the customer and, as a result, damaged, for example, a floor heating.<\/span><\/p>\n If the client notices any defects prior to the measurement, they must be reported by 4:00 p.m. on the weekday preceding the measurement, and a new time must be arranged. If the property cannot be measured and the surveyor has arrived on site, the customer will be charged the fee for the interrupted measurement in accordance with the current price list.<\/span><\/p>\n Billable working time begins when the surveyor starts preparing for the job in question. Preparations include obtaining supplies from the warehouse or, if necessary, from a supplier. Working time does not end until the job is completed and the surveyor has finalized the invoice. Time spent on reporting, as well as travel time from the office to the site and back, is also billable working time. It should be noted that billable working time may also include other tasks such as cleaning equipment, purchasing supplies, and clarifying the scope of work, which do not necessarily take place at the actual work site.<\/span><\/p>\n Work hours are billed in full-hour increments, with billing starting from the beginning of each hour. Billing begins with a one-hour charge for each day and for each meter reader separately. If work must be interrupted, for example due to unforeseen circumstances, it will be billed up until the point at which the work is interrupted.<\/span><\/p>\n The liability of the Contractor and the Client is limited to compensation for proven direct damages and expenses. Neither party is liable for compensation for consequential damages.<\/span><\/p>\n However, the liability of the Contractor and the Client shall in any case be limited to the amount of the Contractor\u2019s VAT-exclusive invoice for the work in questionunless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.<\/span><\/p>\n For services in which equipment is left at the site for an extended period (such as for logging temperature or pressure differentials, or for drying up water damage), if the devices are lost or damaged for reasons beyond Vertia\u2019s or the device\u2019s control, the customer is obligated to cover the purchase costs of a new replacement device as well as the costs incurred from installing the new device.<\/span><\/p>\n Any claim for compensation related to the service must be submitted in writing to Vertia without delay once the Subscriber has discovered the deficiency or error on which the claim for damages is based, but no later than thirty (30) days from the date the service or related material was delivered to the Subscriber.<\/span><\/p>\n Payment terms are 14 days from the invoice date, and any costs incurred due to late payment are the customer\u2019s responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n We reserve the right to use measurements and results for statistical analysis and development work, while respecting our customers\u2019 privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Completion status of the building to be measured<\/b><\/h2>\n
