Let\u2019s start by saying that it\u2019s actually quite difficult to get in, but please keep reading\u2014it\u2019s not because of you, but because of our recruitment process, which involves many people. The hiring decision isn\u2019t made by just one or two people; it\u2019s a collective decision that every Vertia employee has a say in.<\/p>\n<p>Our team works together really well. Every employee has their own unique personality, but we share things that bring us together. It isn\u2019t necessarily a hobby or shared personality traits, but rather a different way of seeing things or a desire to do an outstanding job. Vertia employees come from many different age groups, and our diverse life experiences bring color to our work community. Thanks to our life experiences, we\u2019re driven to make everyday life run smoothly, and we\u2019re always ready to help others when needed\u2014no one is left behind.<\/p>\n<p>What do people bring to our workplace without even realizing it? We don\u2019t have supervisors, and everyone is responsible for their own work and development. This may raise questions: Is it easy to join a construction company where there are no top-down rules dictating how things are done? How do we dare to question things and take responsibility for our own decisions? Of course, we have our own decision-making model, and we\u2019ve also established ground rules together. These are intended to make everyday life easier and more efficient. I also wonder how a new person shapes us? Is it perhaps a strong personality who brings their own twist and adds some spark to the dynamics between people, or do they facilitate communication by being understanding and seeking solutions? One person can change the dynamics of the entire work community. Does our open work culture change people? I believe this happens to some extent. When you\u2019re trusted, you dare to be more.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve read the tips that various websites share on how to prepare for a job interview. They can provide support and give you confidence for what lies ahead. However, I believe that you know yourself best. When you\u2019re comfortable with yourself and know what you want, you\u2019ll be in a strong position during the job interview as well. Work is a big part of life, and if you work somewhere you don\u2019t feel you belong, it can weigh on you even in your free time.<\/p>\n<p>I enjoy recruitment because it gives me the chance to meet new people and work together to determine whether a candidate is a good fit for us and whether the job is exactly what they\u2019re looking for. It\u2019s important that the job description provides the applicant with as realistic a picture as possible, as does our operating model, which differs in many ways from other companies in the construction industry.<\/p>\n<p>Our recruitment process consists of five stages. First, we review all applications and call potential candidates. Based on the phone call, we invite the candidate to our office for a job interview. Next comes a site visit, where the candidate gets a hands-on look at what the job entails. The final stage is a group interview, where the group consists of other Vertia employees\u2014meaning the applicant gets to meet their potential future coworkers, and the Vertia employees get to meet the job seeker. After the meeting, the group makes a hiring decision. The applicant has the option to withdraw from the application process at any stage.<\/p>\n<p>All applicants are on an equal footing, and we welcome every application. Although we\u2019re selective, we have a big heart, and we\u2019ve found some truly amazing people to work with.
