In 2011, three college friends—Heikki, Miska, and Topi—attended a lecture series on Philosophy and Systems Thinking led by philosopher Esa Saarinen. The lectures inspired the young men immensely, and their discussions continued late into the night at Miska’s place after each session. During these discussions, the idea arose to start their own company, and within a couple of months, they were already filling out the incorporation documents, and Vertia Oy was born.

Now, just under four years later, Vertia has come further than anyone initially dared to imagine, and we have an absolutely incredible team working to improve the quality of Finnish construction. Last Tuesday, we came full circle when Esa led a super training session for Vertia’s staff and partners. This is a great place to start moving forward again with renewed inspiration!
