The 2026 Home Builders with the Highest Quality Ratings Have Been Honored – Recognition of Their Long-Term Commitment to Quality

Today at the Build & Renovate Fair, Vertia presented the prestigious ”Proven Most Airtight Home Builder” awards to home builders who have demonstrated exceptional construction quality in terms of airtightness. The awards are based on airtightness measurements conducted by Vertia during 2025.

During 2025, Vertia measured the airtightness of a total of approximately 1,100 single-family homes, which accounts for about 30 percent of the single-family homes built in Finland last year. The award-winning homes were, on average, the most airtight in their respective categories. The award-winning companies have not achieved success through isolated successes; rather, the recognition is a testament to their long-term, consistent, and high-quality construction work.

Air tightness is the foundation of high-quality construction

Good airtightness is a key factor in modern construction. It improves the quality of living, ensures controlled ventilation, and significantly reduces the risk of moisture damage. High-quality airtightness is the result of careful design and precise execution, directly reflecting the homebuilder’s commitment to quality.

The most prolific home builders in 2026 are:

  • The stone house with the best insulation, according to research: Nordic Passive Stone Houses
  • The most energy-efficient wooden house, according to research: Kiiruna Houses
  • The log home with the highest proven airtightness: Kiiruna Houses

Vertia warmly congratulates all the award recipients on the quality of their construction work.
